Privacy & data

ParkOutside is an early concept test. Nothing on this site can be booked and no payment is taken. This page explains, in plain English, what we store while we test whether the idea is useful.

Anonymous usage measurement

We use our own simple measurement — no Google Analytics, no advertising pixels and no third-party trackers. When you open the site we create a random session id and keep it in your browser’s session storage. It disappears when you close the tab, and it is not linked to you, your device or any profile.

With that session id we store which pages were viewed and which steps of the demo were used (for example “example journey viewed” or “feedback submitted”), plus coarse context such as which demo city was chosen. We do not store your IP address, location, device fingerprint, search text, dates or any free text you type.

Campaign attribution

If you arrive from an ad or a link with campaign tags in the address (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term), we keep those short campaign labels with the anonymous session so we can see which message worked. If an ad click id is present we only record that the visit came from a Google or Meta ad — the click id itself is never stored.

What you choose to send us

The concept survey is voluntary. If you complete it, we store your answers (features you value, preference, interest level, hypothetical price and any comment you write). The email field is optional: if you leave one, we store it only to send you an update when ParkOutside launches.

On the partner page, the interest form stores the details you enter — organisation, contact name, email, city, country, number of spaces, availability and your comment — so we can contact you about a possible pilot.

Why we store it

Concept validation (understanding whether the service is wanted and which version), sending launch updates to people who asked for them, and contacting potential partners. We do not sell or share this data, and we do not use it for advertising profiles.

How long we keep it

Anonymous usage events are kept only as long as the validation test is being analysed — we intend to delete them within about 12 months. Survey answers are kept for the same period. Emails and partner contact details are kept until you ask us to remove them, or until it is clear the project will not proceed.

Cookies

We do not set advertising or marketing cookies. The only browser storage we use is a random session id in session storage, which exists purely to count how a single visit moved through the demo. Because there is no third-party tracking and no cross-site profiling, we have chosen clear disclosure here instead of a cookie consent banner. If we later add advertising pixels or persistent tracking, we will add a proper consent banner first.

This is a plain-English description, not legal advice. If a supervisory authority or a lawyer considers consent necessary for this first-party measurement, we will add a consent step.

Access, correction and deletion

You can ask us to show or delete anything you sent us. Because the usage events are anonymous and tied to a temporary session id, we normally cannot link them back to you — but any email, survey answer or partner enquiry can be deleted on request.

Write to hello@parkoutside.eu and we will action it. ParkOutside is currently an unregistered early-stage project run by its founder; there is no company entity yet, and we will update this page as soon as that changes.
